Ultimately, our aim here is deciding whether or not to accept or deny the claim since this can greatly effect the life and trajectory of the claim. I will also review new case law Labor Code §139.21.

    Her primary focus is workers' compensation defense.
    Ms. Kjar was born and raised in Fresno. She attended California State University, Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and was named the 2009 Management Student of the Year. Ms. Kjar also played on the Bulldog tennis team as she pursued her studies. Ms. Kjar attended San Joaquin College of Law to complete her Juris Doctor. While earning her Juris Doctor, she worked as a law clerk for a local civil litigation firm obtaining experience including trial preparation, drafting pleadings, investigating class actions and developing labor and employment law seminars and training.
